The Corona Virus guidelines change often, and we couldn’t know ahead of time whether the camp would happen or not. In the end, the team of leaders decided in faith to hold the youth camp in two groups of up to 20 people (youth and leaders), according to the guidelines at the time. In order to do this, the camp was shortened to three days per group. We held the youth camp at a campground near Kiryat Shemona. The camp was very blessed. The youth learned a lot from the book of Daniel, played many group-building games, hiked and floated down the Jordan River, and spent time in worship and prayer.
At last minute, just before the camp, new restrictions were set in place regarding the number of people who could ride together in a car, but thanks to volunteers and some creativity, we managed to get over that hurdle and the camp went smoothly. Praise God, the youth returned home encouraged and blessed, and there were no big issues. We thank God that He allowed us to hold the camp, and we ask for your prayers for every one of our youth – that God would continue the good work He began in their lives.
